Prof. Dr. Ram Bahadur Sah holds an M.Sc. (Honours) (1979) and PhD (1983) from the Geological Prospecting Institute, Moscow. He has more than 35 years of teaching and geological research experience and has published approximately 50 research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His academic contributions primarily cover stratigraphy, palaeontology, mineral deposits and the geology of the Nepal Himalaya.

Dr. Kabi Raj Paudyal holds bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in geology from Tribhuvan University. He completed his M.Sc. with distinction in 1999 and PhD in 2014, followed by postdoctoral training and research at the University of Torino, Italy. He has more than 22 years of teaching and research experience and has published approximately 50 papers on geological mapping, stratigraphy, metamorphism, mineral resources, engineering geology, hydrogeology and geological hazards.
