Prof. Dr. Lalu P. Paudel is a professor of geology at the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University. He graduated from the same department in 1995 and completed his PhD and postdoctoral studies at Hokkaido University, Japan. His principal areas of teaching and research are petrology, tectonics and Himalayan geology. He has published more than 60 research papers in national and international journals and authored four geology books.
