Dr. Kabi Raj Paudyal is a geologist, researcher and faculty member at the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University. He holds bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in geology from Tribhuvan University and completed postdoctoral training and research at the University of Torino, Italy, during 2015–2016. His research covers mineral resources, stratigraphy, palaeontology, engineering geology, cave geology and geological hazards. He has published approximately six dozen research articles and authored several books on different areas of geology.
