Dr. Kabi Raj Paudyal holds an M.Sc. in Geology (1999) and PhD (2014) from Tribhuvan University. He completed postdoctoral training and research as a WWS2 Fellow at the University of Torino, Italy, during 2015–2016. His academic work focuses on mineral resources, stratigraphy, palaeontology and geological hazards. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed research articles, authored six books, co-authored two books and three book chapters, and prepared 14 research reports for academic, industrial and government institutions in Nepal.
